Look, don’t get us wrong: pancakes and French toast are all well and good, but sometimes you just need to indulge in a different sweet breakfast treat. Enter our beautifully crunchy yet oh-so-tasty dessert panini recipe that’s perfect for any time of day! 

Prepare these gourmet delights on your Daytona Gas Griddle instead of a panini maker for an ultra-crispy finish. Once you experience the decadence that is a banana Nutella sandwich, there’s no turning back. Its textural diversity is a feast for the senses.

Combining rich hazelnut spread with the sweet creaminess of the fruit and stuffing it between two slices of toasty brioche sends your tastebuds straight to heaven.

Best of all, our recipe is quick and simple to follow, allowing you to enjoy it at a moment’s notice. Serve with a side of fresh berries, a scoop of ice cream, a dollop of whipped cream, or simply enjoy the Nutella sandwich on its own. The possibilities are endless!

  • 4 brioche slices
  • ½ cup Nutella
  • 2 ripe bananas (sliced)
  • 2 tbsp butter/oil

Preparation


  1. Preheat your Daytona Griddle to medium heat.
  2. Slice the bananas into circles.
  3. Cut off four thick slices of brioche

Cooking Instructions

    Spread a generous amount of Nutella onto two slices of brioche.

  2. 2

    Top the Nutella with banana rounds and cover with the remaining brioche slices.

  3. 3

    Spread the butter/oil on top of each Nutella sandwich.

  4. 4

    Place both sandwiches onto your Daytona Griddle and cook until the bread becomes golden brown and the Nutella melts – around 3-4 minutes per side.

    Cut each banana Nutella sandwich in half and serve immediately. Enjoy!
